Submit your details and we'll be in touch if you qualify to join our Fast Track to Brain Blossom Cohort!
Built for the chiropractor who already sees the bigger picture.Â
Â
You've been asking. So we finally built it.
Â
Get in before your Certification Series is even finished.
Â
For a while now we have been getting the same question from doctors. Can I start Brain Blossom before I finish my Certification Series? The answer has always been, "not yet". Well, enough of you have asked that we finally built a way to do both at once.
This is the first Fast Track cohort. Ten to fifteen doctors, one three-day intensive, and you leave with your certification finished and Brain Blossom fully onboarded in your practice. No months of piecing it together at home after the course. You go home a provider, already running.
The room only holds ten to fifteen. We are opening it by application, and given how many of you have already been asking, we expect it to fill quickly. If you have been waiting for this, you already know it is you.
HOW IT WORKS
COMPLETE YOUR PREREQUISITE ONLINE LEARNING MODULES
Nine hours of self-paced online learning modules
- FOCUS from the beginning. Learn from the creation story of the FOCUS work and how clinical, educational, and psychological influences, both inside and outside of chiropractic, have allowed the formation of a different "lens" when working with kids and adults with neuro-deflective disorders™.
- We'll discuss and dig deeper into what the science tells us about the developing brain, stress, subluxation, and how to put the pieces together to make the case for what we do as chiropractors.Â
- Simplifying clinical integration. Learn the first two hierarchies of brain development and how subluxation can specifically impact the trajectory of the developing brain. Learn to use the tools of the FOCUS hierarchical approach to brain development to uncover the reason for specific “behaviors” and “challenges”. You will then discover how to use your clinical assessment to put the pieces together.Â
- Practical changes to create a safe place to land for families. Many doctors and staff feel overwhelmed or intimidated when working with individuals with behavioral, learning, or socialization challenges. Not to mention, the challenge communicating and care planning in a way that will be effective. This module will tackle all that and more!

Two full days inside the exam. You learn to take a nervous system apart layer by layer and put the whole picture back together, so a case that used to look like a pile of unrelated symptoms finally makes sense.
-
The full brain-based exam, start to finish. No specialized gym, no equipment you don't already own. You walk out able to assess a child across movement, coordination, fine motor, language, and the visual system.
-
Primitive reflexes, read the right way. What a retained reflex is actually telling you about where a child is stuck under stress, and why you read it instead of chasing it.
-
What grip and handwriting give away. How to catch the moment a brain drops to a less efficient tool just to get through a task, whether you are looking at a five-year-old or a forty-year-old.
-
The eye exam. The eyes are the only part of the brain sitting outside the skull. Once you can read them, you see the link between vision, reading, attention, and behavior that most providers miss completely.
-
What stuttering, scripting, and echolalia are really saying. How to hear language and rhythm as a nervous system under load, instead of a list of separate problems to send somewhere else.
-
Dyslexia and the symbol-processing brain. A dedicated deep dive into reading, letters, and numbers, and why symbol processing breaks down.
-
From exam to care plan. How to turn what you find into a clear plan, pre-frame the parent so their worry drops before care even starts, and prove progress with real re-exams instead of hoping it is working.
About Dr. Amy Spoelstra
Dr. Amy is the founder of FOCUS Academy and the creator of the IDP Framework and the Brain Blossom Neurocognitive Game and Exercise System.
She did not come to this work from chiropractic alone. Dr. Amy grew up in the neuro-optometry field. Vision therapy rooms, neuro-education concepts, conversations about the brain, development, and learning at every family gathering. That gave her a lens most chiropractors never get.
Years of layering chiropractic, functional neurology, developmental movement, and brain-based work into her own pediatric and family practice became the FOCUS Academy framework. She now teaches that framework to chiropractors across the world.
This checklist is the front door of that framework. The full system lives inside the FOCUS Academy Certification Series.
What Chiropractors say about the FOCUS Academy Framework
Â
"I slow down and notice more things during the exam, not just what the exam is testing for. I love the concept of watch and wonder and then being able to tie it all together at the end." — Dr. Kelsey Thomas, DC
"There is a way to also explain the importance of chiropractic through a Brain Blossom lens to an adult that only came due to back pain." — Dr. Génesis M. Sánchez-López, DC
"I think my biggest take away is being excited about chiropractic again. I've been very burned out and thought about leaving the profession all together several times. I'm very excited to gain the tools and knowledge to help kids in my community in a much bigger way." — Dr. Jill, DC
