Built for the chiropractor who already sees the bigger picture.

You've been asking

So we finally built it.

Get in before your Certification Series is even finished.

For a while now we have been getting the same question from doctors. Can I start Brain Blossom before I finish my Certification Series? The answer has always been, "not yet". Well, enough of you have asked that we finally built a way to do both at once.

This is the first Fast Track cohort. Ten to fifteen doctors, one three-day intensive, and you leave with your certification finished and Brain Blossom fully onboarded in your practice. No months of piecing it together at home after the course. You go home a provider, already running.

The room only holds ten to fifteen. We are opening it by application, and given how many of you have already been asking, we expect it to fill quickly. If you have been waiting for this, you already know it is you.

How it works

Three phases. One weekend on the ground.

01 Before you arrive

Complete your prerequisite online learning modules

Nine hours of self-paced online learning modules.

  • FOCUS from the beginning. Learn from the creation story of the FOCUS work and how clinical, educational, and psychological influences, both inside and outside of chiropractic, have allowed the formation of a different "lens" when working with kids and adults with neuro-deflective disorders™.
  • We'll discuss and dig deeper into what the science tells us about the developing brain, stress, subluxation, and how to put the pieces together to make the case for what we do as chiropractors.
  • Simplifying clinical integration. Learn the first two hierarchies of brain development and how subluxation can specifically impact the trajectory of the developing brain. Learn to use the tools of the FOCUS hierarchical approach to brain development to uncover the reason for specific "behaviors" and "challenges". You will then discover how to use your clinical assessment to put the pieces together.
  • Practical changes to create a safe place to land for families. Many doctors and staff feel overwhelmed or intimidated when working with individuals with behavioral, learning, or socialization challenges. Not to mention, the challenge communicating and care planning in a way that will be effective. This module will tackle all that and more!

Complete your certification

Two full days inside the exam. You learn to take a nervous system apart layer by layer and put the whole picture back together, so a case that used to look like a pile of unrelated symptoms finally makes sense.

  • The full brain-based exam, start to finish. No specialized gym, no equipment you don't already own. You walk out able to assess a child across movement, coordination, fine motor, language, and the visual system.
  • Primitive reflexes, read the right way. What a retained reflex is actually telling you about where a child is stuck under stress, and why you read it instead of chasing it.
  • What grip and handwriting give away. How to catch the moment a brain drops to a less efficient tool just to get through a task, whether you are looking at a five-year-old or a forty-year-old.
  • The eye exam. The eyes are the only part of the brain sitting outside the skull. Once you can read them, you see the link between vision, reading, attention, and behavior that most providers miss completely.
  • What stuttering, scripting, and echolalia are really saying. How to hear language and rhythm as a nervous system under load, instead of a list of separate problems to send somewhere else.
  • Dyslexia and the symbol-processing brain. A dedicated deep dive into reading, letters, and numbers, and why symbol processing breaks down.
  • From exam to care plan. How to turn what you find into a clear plan, pre-frame the parent so their worry drops before care even starts, and prove progress with real re-exams instead of hoping it is working.

White glove Brain Blossom onboarding

Everything that used to be a checklist waiting for you at home, we do together, in the room, with Dr. Amy and Dr. Hannah right there.

  • Orientation with Dr. Amy and Dr. Hannah. What Brain Blossom is, how it works, and how to actually use it with your families.
  • Brain Blossom care planning. How to fold the program into the care plans for the cases you just learned to examine, so the clinical work and the program are one plan, not two.
  • Live Q&A in the room. Every question you have about running Brain Blossom, the app, stations, the workflow, the day-to-day of using it in your practice, answered on the spot, instead of waiting for a call to open up weeks later.
  • Your spot in the Brain Blossom Provider Directory. We list you so the families already searching for this work can find their way to your door.
  • Your personal invite code, in hand. You leave with the code that gives your patients access, ready to use.
  • Your app welcome video, recorded. We help you film the welcome video that loads straight into the app for your families, finished before you head home.
  • Step-by-step patient onboarding. You practice bringing a family into Brain Blossom start to finish, until the whole flow feels like yours.
  • A full member portal tour. Where your ongoing case support, tools, and resources live, and how to put them to work right away.

About Dr. Amy Spoelstra

Dr. Amy Spoelstra is a leader in brain-based pediatric chiropractic care and the founder of FOCUS Academy and the Brain Blossom Program. Her work focuses on helping chiropractors and interdisciplinary providers understand and navigate neurodevelopment, behavior, learning, and socialization through a whole-to-part approach rooted in nervous system function and chiropractic principles.

She trains doctors and other professionals worldwide to assess and support the developmental hierarchies that influence how children grow, adapt, and connect, both in typical development and in the presence of Neuro-Deflective Disorders™. Her approach emphasizes clarity in complexity, teaching providers how to think critically, communicate effectively with families, and implement right-now strategies without losing sight of foundational care.

As an international speaker and educator, Amy has taught thousands of providers around the world and is known for her ability to simplify neuroscience and clinical systems into actionable tools that fit real-world practice. She has published peer-reviewed research through the FOCUS Academy Research branch, furthering the field of brain-based pediatric care.

Driven by a mission to build a community of confident, brain-based clinicians, Dr. Amy continues to lead with humility, curiosity, and clarity, empowering doctors and families alike to move forward with purpose, strategy, and heart.

From the room

What chiropractors say about the FOCUS Academy framework

I slow down and notice more things during the exam, not just what the exam is testing for. I love the concept of watch and wonder and then being able to tie it all together at the end.

Dr. Kelsey Thomas, DC

There is a way to also explain the importance of chiropractic through a Brain Blossom lens to an adult that only came due to back pain.

Dr. Génesis M. Sánchez-López, DC

I think my biggest take away is being excited about chiropractic again. I've been very burned out and thought about leaving the profession all together several times. I'm very excited to gain the tools and knowledge to help kids in my community in a much bigger way.
