Built for the chiropractor who already sees the bigger picture

You see the kid who hums when demand goes up. The girl who giggles right before she shuts down. The boy compensating with his neck because his eyes cannot track across a sentence yet.

You catch the things other providers miss. The piece you have been wanting is a structured way to put what you see into a clinical plan that holds together from exam to re-exam.

That is what this checklist is for.

Inside the IDP Framework Checklist

INVESTIGATE

A whole-child exam structure that walks you through the two big clinical questions every school-aged exam should answer. Includes regulation and movement findings, communication and cognition tools, and the behavioral observations most exams miss.

DECODE

A hierarchy lens to help you read the story underneath the findings. Includes the three clinical archetypes you will recognize from your own practice (the Explosive Reactor, the Perfectionist Who Shut Down, and the Absent-Minded Reader) and the drop patterns that point to where to start.

PLAN

The two-bucket care planning structure that keeps chiropractic central while sequencing the rest of your tools. Bucket one is your long-term clinical plan. Bucket two is the right-now strategies you give parents to use at home before they leave your office.

About Dr. Amy Spoelstra

Dr. Amy is the founder of FOCUS Academy and the creator of the IDP Framework and the Brain Blossom Neurocognitive Game and Exercise System.

She did not come to this work from chiropractic alone. Dr. Amy grew up in the neuro-optometry field. Vision therapy rooms, neuro-education concepts, conversations about the brain, development, and learning at every family gathering. That gave her a lens most chiropractors never get.

Years of layering chiropractic, functional neurology, developmental movement, and brain-based work into her own pediatric and family practice became the FOCUS Academy framework. She now teaches that framework to chiropractors across the world.

This checklist is the front door of that framework. The full system lives inside the FOCUS Academy Certification Series.

What Chiropractors say about the FOCUS Academy Framework

"I slow down and notice more things during the exam, not just what the exam is testing for. I love the concept of watch and wonder and then being able to tie it all together at the end." — Dr. Kelsey Thomas, DC
"There is a way to also explain the importance of chiropractic through a Brain Blossom lens to an adult that only came due to back pain." — Dr. Génesis M. Sánchez-López, DC
"I think my biggest take away is being excited about chiropractic again. I've been very burned out and thought about leaving the profession all together several times. I'm very excited to gain the tools and knowledge to help kids in my community in a much bigger way." — Dr. Jill, DC
